Well its in human nature to get worked up if someone uses foul language for you (in general) or your family members…especially guys, i have seen them getting mad at the point that they start beating the person because for them its the izzat factor that comes up so they just can’t control their tempers - But i have noticed that a lot of the guys also get all worked up if someone i.e. who is not their friend and/or acquainted to them starts swearing…i was going through a facebook phadda in one of the groups today and i was surprised to see that the guys get all hyper and jumpy even at girls and don’t mind using foul language for them if a girl uses it for them…is it just in a guys nature? or do these things hurt guys? or they do it for time pass since on facebook they don’t have any moderator coming after them? like seriously does gaalian/foul language have such an affect on a guys nerves that they forget everything and get all huffy puffy? I know it may vary from person to person but still how does it work generally for guys?

In Potowari Urdu there is a word for such “men” Cuputhay! That means they are un-educated egotistic delinquants who can’t say anything better!

That's just dramay i guess, i have seen guys lose their cool as well...there are times i think even the guys who have girlfriends lose their cool if another girl calls them bhai...its just guy thing, whether they like the girl or not they want to act all MACHOO

I find something really wrong with guys who use vulgar language when talking about women. I can understand if they're angry over a situation or person and a foul word comes out...but some guys always use nasty words for women, and its disgusting.

^ Agree! and then they think its cool :s they're showing their bahir ki parahai where yeh sab chalta hai, but they don't know that they're actually wrong because its only the 3rd world guys who go their and start acting weird while most of the whites (especially the ones i know) are really respectful towards girls, i have also seen so many guys hold the doors open for them etc...its just sad to see brown guys who are so deluded.

No one answered my question though...why do guys act that way? whats up with them? do they really feel offended/ angry/mad or is it just a drama from their side?
i’d say it’s just ‘guy drama’ thing, with all that equal rights thing for women going on in the world today, our fellow men think they ought to get the same rights as women in doing nakhre.
mostly it’s all about ego, nothing about dignity or true pride. i guess faris is right in calling them cuputhay(
