Once many years back, someone on GS told me of a Pakistani guy being killed in New Jersey by some thugs in a restuarant. Well, believe it or not, the next day I found out that it was my aunt's husband who was shot for some money.

a friend that i knew for a long time in high skool added my id on msn and we chatted for a year.. as friends..he told me he is in afghanistan... when in reality he was a friend from high skool...i know this happens a lot.... but ya...just thought of sharing...

So lets see there was this guy i used to really hate on mIRC (Undernet, channel #parsi). We used to flame each other everyday and it turns out we were good friends at university and only found out a year later that we know each other from before. We had a good laugh :)
Apart from that its mostly old primary-middle-high school friends looking me up or me looking them up on the internet every now and then. I came across alot of them on orkut.
Also unrelated, but wierd how you come across people you thought you didnt like at all back in high school but now youre better friends with them than the people who you thought were your real friends in high school. For example this girl back in high school she was a real nerd and she hated me for being so tapori :p But a few years after high school we ran into each other and found out we're not so different after all. I'm sure lots of other people have experienced this too.
I had always thought she was probably married to some rich memon guy and has 5 kids already. And here she is, workin in a teaching job at a public elmentary school in Dallas.

A few years ago on GS I mentioned the name of a boy I had a crush on in school some 15 years ago. The reason why I mentioned the name was because we were talking about funny names in a thread, and I spelt his out. Now I find this person on a wonderful site called facebook, and he messaged me a few days ago asking if I'm cat-woman on gupshup. Figures a few years ago he googled his name to find a link to my wonderful post. It was agonisingly embarassing, but the good thing that came out of it was that he admitted to having liked me too.
That is the reason why I never discussed Ghazala, Kanwal, Shahida, Salma, Rukhsana. Imraana, Farhana, Lubna, Shabnum, Kulsoom, Fareeha, Sadiya, Ambereen, Salma and Nasira on this froum

well there is this guppan whose aunty and grandfather knows my family and she pmed me and we started talking and we know each other somehow and its cool:)
