there are quite a few way to connect to internet ....
the card system is called dial up connection .... in which u need a modem and phone line to connect to internet .....

well its been ages since i've used these cards .... (almost 8 yrs) ...
the card ranges from 10Rs. per hour to 20Rs. per hour ..... or i guess there are more cheaper one available too...
you can buy as many hours as you want .....
plus PTCL (local landline) is also providing Internet facility in all major cities ... so you dont have to buy cards from shop... just plug your phone line into your modem ... n dial the PTCL ISP number .... the internet charges will be billed with your telephone bill

They also have broadband as well as DSL services in Pakistan for quite some time now. They also have wireless highspeed internet service as well.
