I am just wondering if most internet cafes in Pakistan are all on broadband or they still on dial up?

The few i went to had dial up... but i think there was one my brother went to that was broadband i think... this was in 2006 btw so things might have changed since then

They are on DSL. 100kbp/s.

Don't be fooled Azim. People in pakistan have a different definition for broadband. They consider even 100kbps as highspeed internet.

Apart from the private cubicles, some of the internet cafes also have computers. Thats what I have heard about net cafes in pakistan :@:

uff toba toba..I actually visited a net cafe located in defense a few times when I went last summer. the service was a lil crappy but it was nothing like what i’ve heard abt net cafes :halo:

some of the net cafes are very creepy .

the one around yummy 36 looks sooo scary , though i never went into it , but it has the atmosphere

If you go to one with company, make sure there are no hidden cameras. And no, I am not speaking from experience.

These days PTCL is offering 1MB DSL connection in PRs: 5000/per month. So most of the cable operators and net cafes are availing this service.
