I am sad to see that there is no representation of Indian subcontinent (Both India and Pakistan) in any internation scientific projects. Now ambitious projects across the world are becoming too big and expensive to be handled by a single country. Human Genome Project was one such one. Now the International Space Station is another such project where I see Canadian representaion and feel proud of it but at the same time I feel sad to find India or Pakistan out of this picture.
Now many such mega projects will be on the anvil in the near future. I will not be surprised if the next century finds all the continents getting connected by underwater tunnels (like the one between England and France). It won’t be surprising when people from Singapore coming to North America by trains.
