Your time spent under constant military dicatatorship has taken it's toll ..... By voting they have excersised their right to select the people to speak on their behalf .......
What happened in summer was a local issues was explioted by some groups like Hurriyat to further their agenda ..... people had resentment against government's action and they expressed their anger. That is why after the issue was settled ..... there were neither any protests nor did people listen to the election boycott call of Hurriryat !!!!!
Well last I checked Pakistan has a democratic govt.
And if being democratic means having demented old farts running are country like in India, then I would perfer military rule.
What happened in the summer was Kashmiris rising to tell each and everyone of you HINDUstanis that they are not Indian!
Even independant anylasyts belive this was simmering hostility...
The reason there are no more protests is because Indians started killing people and arresting of all leasdership...
Fact of the matter is that Kashmiris DO NOT wantr India... This has been proven through any independant surveys. And the TOUSANDS of people who protested the state of India proves it.
Your problem is that your delusional and in denial. Your pathetic "democracy" is holding millions against their will, and commiting grave human rights violations... Ofcourse you will never know about it because your country being a pseudo democracy, doesnt allow independant montirosing of what really goes on there.
