Kamran was kept in the team, cause of his batting. He used to play excellent knocks lower in the order in tests and upper in the orderin ODI/T20 when it was needed. But for the past many months his performance with the bat was mediocre, he was throwing his wicket for no good reason. apart from the final T20, his highest score in the tour was 34.
So he was in the team based on his batting only, his glovework has been stupid for the past two years or so, he seldom takes a brilliant catch. So for me, Younis and others used to protect him cause of his batting. Our Middle and upper order were so pathetic that they used to reply on lower order batsman to score runs and protect them.
