salam all,

as we all know that intermarrying/incest (marrying a close relative like brother, sister, khala, chacha etc) is haraam in islam. if thats the case then how did the human population grew knowing that adam (as) was the first human god made along with his wife (as)?..quran references would be helpful.

marrying a mehram is haraam in the shariat of Prophet Mohammed . It was not Haraam in the shariat of Adam AS.
