Hamid Nasir Chatha and the High Commissioner to Turkey. Cant recall his name.
Why is BB pitching for Hamid Nasir? What’s particularly suitable about him for this role, if anything?
Same question for the Ambassador to Turkey who is being backed by Gen Musharraf, as ppl say.
Who would you think should/could be a caretaker PM?

The Ambassador's name is Lt. General (retd) Iftikhar Hussain Shah - who was formerly Musharraf's Governor of NWFP.
Hamid Nasir Chatta is now a leader of the PML "Q", but previously he was the leader of PML "Junejo" faction - an anti-Nawaz Sharif faction which was in close alliance with her when she was PM.

no no no he led PML (chay) group. look up old papers if you dont believe me, they changed it to chatta group soon though

I know what you mean.
Other names mentioned to lead an interim government are Dr Ishrat Hussain (former Governor SBP), Aftab Shahban Mirani (BB’s former Defence Minister I believe), and even Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi (previously caretaker PM in 1990).
