After much changes in weather and snow melting, almost to the point where I had thought it would disappear soon, it snowed again last night. Chicago is, yet again, white and covered with Snow. The weather can never be predicted in Chicago. It could be like Spring one day (literally) and freezing the next day. So far, so good. Weather is pleasant. Families can go out, play football in snow (which is fun) and have a snow fight or something and finish the day off with warm food & that will be their day out
It snows only one day in the whole season , that too ,not enough for the kids to make a snow man off of it. We have a rain deficit and drought conditions. It is supposed to rain today all day off and on but not much so it will not make a dent in the drought. Tomorrow it is supposed to be sunny and 54 F.
I lived in Chicago for 3 years then the first opportunity I got to get out I grabbed it. Not that I did not like to go to Devon on weekends to enjoy the Sabri key nihari or Ghareeb Nawaz key biryani or Tahoora key mithai and halwa poori. I surely miss all that now. Oh well that is life. This city is supposed to get a Pakistani restaurant pretty soon Fox news was so excited that they gave coverage to this news in their local news edition.
