At least a couple of major flaws in this post.

What you ignored are that:

A- “STATS” you referred to still are based on racism. Hence if Police is reacting to stats, then police is reacting to racism spread like the mosaic pattern in to the society.

This means that using Stats in this matter is wrong.

Please go to basics and define where stats came from.

B- You said crimes are more committed by blacks. OK. What is the source of it? If Non-Black or White is not caught or released without being charged, then will that affect the statement you made?

C- No idea what color skin are you, but the white girl you mentined is a RACIST. Please do not try to be politically correct.

Had you not been seen with a white person giving ride, she dislikd you. She disliked you for something she did not share with you like “your looks”.

Again no idea what your look is like, according to you she stopped disliking you when she saw you with someone who is white.

This means your look is not white.

This means she is a racist.

Try not to sugarcoat it by saying people need to give others oppurtunity to see deeper than skin.

NO.

You did not by any means show her the oppurtunity to see deeper than skin, NOR she saw anything deeper than skin.

She remains a racist.

All you did was to pacify her racism inadvertently.

C: What you are asking people to do is to appease racism and hatred based on look in the end.

Bark and walk like a dog too, so other dog will feel ‘comfortable’.

A lot of desis/foreigners do that and they call this “ASSIMILATION”.

I saw the above and I don’t want to respond to it … but I shall … I did indeed say the stats approach is wrong … It is wrong because it forces the view of people ‘to be profiled’ by race … So I agree with you … I said it is not racist in the sense that it is done by them in the hope of preventing crime by predicting patterns … It is just a flawed mechanism in that respect and creates racism.

Yes that white girl is probably still racist, my point is not that I set out to do something to change her mind … I didn’t, I just continued to be nice to her … My statement of her seeing me with a white dude was probably only one big factor. I have been through a lot in my time. I could tell you but I will not bother … Because this is just an Internet forum … Any way, my point is her familiarity with me gave her a way to see me and judge me as an individual … I am not afraid of racist behaviour … I am not assimilating, I do not dress like them, act like them, I’m not a coconut … Brown on the outside and white on the inside … I have a beard and I go to the masjid. The person I pick up works around my prayer schedule … I don’t take petrol money off him, but he feels obliged to do things and treats me to a meal or a gift cards for supermarket. Even he is racist … If you speak to him you will see it, but he respects me. Racism is baggage … It is their ignorance … It used to scare me … But not now, Alhumdulillah.

I am asking people not to succumb to racism by behaving back in a racist way. I used to care about monetary disparity … But not anymore … This is very different to those desis who think of whites as superior and feel they are like slaves to them … I’m not like that … I tell them how it is … I try to take good from all societies and leave the bad … And I regularly tell them that racism has never been removed except in Islam.

I think different people have different levels of it … My white friends who are not racist at all are the Muslim ones … Converts. That is not to say all converts are not racist. By those who I choose as my close friends are not racist at all … Because our whole outlook in life is based on another world-view.
