Any kind of job. I dont think there is any discrimination unless the candidate has a criminal background in which case it really gets harder. For example I’m in IT industry and in my current job a ton of key management positions are occupied by African americans. By the way both latinos and african americans are very good in supporting people from their own community in terms of job etc.

Regarding school, if I generalize hard I think white schools certainly do much better than black ones. And the result being poverty, drug involvement, bad family backgrounds etc. But those who work harder do excel very well.

Poverty is a good reason.

Drug involvement is over simplifying. Getting locked up for say 10 years for crack cocaine. While cocaine the drug of choice for the whites gets a slap on the wrist. You lock up the males. What do you get. Broken families. (Not bad family background).

It is institutionalized racism that has to be first acknowleded. Then addressed. Then eliminated Presence of black managers notwithstanding.
