Hi. Dears i like All of shadi rasams and functions. But i like mayon function and jota chupai rasam most of them.
What is your most interesting and funny shadi rasam and function? Please share your experience and also share which is your family traditional rasam? Like dulha dulhan ko kheer khelana, dulhan ka rice phenkna etc

My favourite, probably because it is always done is the dhood pilai, the jota chupai too, although I have never been that much of a fan of actually doing the jota one. And although both of these are traditional things to do, I hate the asking for money bit after! I always leave that to my cousins etc. to do, as I just find it embarrasing.
Hmmm, also at weddings in Pakistan, I always loved the dholi bit. The weddings that I went to as a child, the dulhan always left in a dholi (I got a few rides too :)), but now that weddings have become a bit more moderised, you could say, they don't seem to do that anymore! I definitely want a dholi, I don't know how this will work logistically, but I do! We don't seem to have many more apart from the usual mehndhi etc, the guys family do tend to bring the mehndhi, but even that if they live far away, doesn't happen all that often when I visit Pak now.

dhoodh pilai is loads of fun and the tieing of the ghane thing to the guy and ur friends.... I love the idea of the mirror rasam after the nikah although its something not everyone does.
