**5 engines [2 on right and 3 on left wing] on Kuwait Airways’ Boeing-747 instead of usual 4 [2 on each wing]…This is a unique of transporting an extra engine.
**** THANK YOU MS. EINTEINA [CUTE GURL] FOR UR HELP! :)**
**
wow…nice…but the extra engines are NOT mounted directly on the B-747’s wings…did u notice the space shuttles engines are covered up and streamlined to reduce drag.
i saw this NASA Boeing 747-200 with re-designed winglets on the tail fin for increased stability of the aircraft in the flight.
i saw this aircraft with the space shuttle on its back when it took a flyover over Toronto for exhibition some years ago. it was a pretty sight :)**

i think they increase the thrust on one of the engines on the other wing equal to the drag caused by the extra engine…this fith engine is non-functional…its just a spare repaired engine being transported to its destination :)**
