I was on the internet reading on these ‘nausea’ wrist bands, i.e. we put them on the wrists and the nausea goes away.
How is that possible, or is it?
Anyone know or heard of this before?

It has something to do with pressure points....here`s the explanation I found - sounds interesting.
Medical scientists don’t know for sure how acupressure wristbands relieve nausea and vomiting (then again, they don’t know for sure how aspirin works either). But the theories they have so far point to two possible explanations of how BioBands works -- The first is that using an acupressure wristband interrupts the nervous system signals that bring about nausea symptoms in the body. The second is that continual pressure to the P-6 acupressure points causes the release of endorphins, neurotransmitters that act as a natural painkiller within the body.

I have them. They are called C (Sea?) Bands. It looks like a sweat band, but has a small plastic ball sewn in which is placed on the inside of the wrist.
I used to have the WORST air sickness. But a friend suggested these bands and they work amazing! I can now sit on a plane without having nausea and throwing up every hour. It's great!
You can buy them at any drug store.

I agree with Afshi. I have these bands and use them whenever I fly. Along with my motion sickness medicine, these bands are a lifesaver!

I could recall several times I wish I had such a band, lol. Sounds interesting.
I've also heard and read that licking a lemon prevents nausea as well.
