The 2nd Test versus India in Lahore during April 2004 had a very similar situation
India batted first and scored 287 all out. A lonely century by middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh.
Pakistan replied with a century each from Imran Farhat and Inzi. Yousuf and Asim Kamal scored 70 odd each to take Pakistan to 489 .
India were all out for 241 in 62 overs, setting Pakistan 40 to win, which they did at the loss of one wicket.
The main destroyers in the second innings were Shoaib Akhtar and Danish Kaneria with three wickets each.
The match ended on the fourth day.
Re: Interesting: A Previous Test Similar in Comparison
Since England scored 288 (1 run more than India) Pakistan should score 490 atleast then declare, then bowl out England for 241 in 62.1 overs and score the required 40 runs :D
