How do you deal with non-muslim guys approaching you and asking you out? What is the nicest and best way to tell them it can’t ever happen?
Also how do you prevent guys from approaching to hug you when they meet you?
My friends do the whole hug greeting with guys, but personally I don’t like meeting guys that way. The muslim guys I associate with know that and they don’t dare to touch me. But with non-muslims I haven’t figured out a way to explain this them. I’m not the bold upfront type, pretty shy with people I don’t know. Usually I would avoid and ignore guys, but then I was told I’m “stuck up and mean.” So I tried to better my ways and meet people rather nicely by saying hi and smiling, but now I feel like maybe they take it the wrong way.
So what is the best way to make them understand all this without having to end contact with them?

I just told my colleagues that I dont hug when they try to hug me...sometimes they get embarrassed.some got furious..but at the end of the day they stopped doing it

If they are persistent, then you could just tell them that you already have someone.

As far as turning down guys goes, do what any other girl does: have a boyfriend, thanks but no thanks, what ever.
As for meeting people, you could extend your hand for a handshake before they try to hug you.

I wouldn't go the "I have a boyfriend, thanks but not thanks" route...........a simple I don't hug should work

yup I've told people I don't hug, and they approach again and say "oh I forgot." I have to push them away, and it makes them feel embarrassed and makes me look like I'm mean or something. I hate having to remind people I don't hug again and again.
I think I'll just stick with being serious and firm with non-muslims, if they wanna perceive me as mean then I guess so be it.

You can use walker as a shield between you and hugger.

explain to them why you can't hug, instead of just saying "i don't hug", believe me nonmuslims are very ignorant of non-christian religious practices, especially islamic rules/practices.
If you explain that it's just not proper for a muslim person to date or show public displays of affection to nonmuslims and show them how the quran says so they'll actually understand that it's nothing personal against them or that we're arrogant to the max or that nonmuslims have cooties, it's just something we can't do.
they'll understand i'm sure.

most people seem to understand it once you explain it to them properly especially if it's going to be someone you are going to be hanging out with on a regular basis then you should definetely explain the reason you don't hug instead of just saying i don't hug over and over again

your non muslim guy friends should respect your values, and understand where your coming from.
I know my friends have a greater respect for me because i don't do that...and i have explained it to them.
Instead of a hug...you can always give a hand-five or a handshake lol

I think the best way to catter such situations is to explain to your friends the values you believe in and follow, not i am arrrogant or mean to others, they will understand, as they seems to be so ignorant of other cultures/religious values.
