intentions for namaz/Quran

wondering… what sort of intentions should one have to read namaz or Quran?

i admit im not a regular Quran reader, something needs to upset me enuff to start reading. Recently a friend was really sick so i promised myself and Allah Mian that i’d read a page of the Quran each night after Isha (and alhamdulillah i have been)

are these intentions wrong?

hmmm

why do u think its wrong sadzzz? i dont think so...infact thats really good mashallah

i think surah maaoon has a good explanation for some wrong niyats u can have for namaz

if u intend to be on the path to Allah then its good, anything other than allah...bad
