Intense pain

This is embarassing for me but I’m in pain so I’ll ask any way:
when ever I’m on my period I get the worst period pains ever Its so bad that I cant eat for three days I come out in cold sweats and then faint. Right now I’m in the cold sweats area. Its really really bad!!! I’ve been to the doctor and he says its normal-thats because he doesn’t see me at my worst. I dson’t know what to do because no painkiller has any effect on it. At all, one time I was so desperate I took 4 Ibrophens< or however u spell it. I was wondering if any 1 else had such bad period pains and if so-what do u do?

And guys please don’t reply, im pretending guys won’t read it so if you do don’t reply. Even if is only to save my blushes. I am full of sharam, trust me, Ill die of mortification if any guys answer.

You’re cute

Don’t worry somethings have to be addressed, you did the right thing.

As for help I can’t really advice you, but i know there are some females around who might have the same kind of condition and might be able to help.

I do hope no guys would come here to mess around with this thread. :soldier:

Mem sahab I am sholly. Pls do some thing for this patient :)

First of all, you should demand that your doctor authorize you to have an ultrasound done in your abdominal/ovaries area. Don't listen to doctors who say it is probably nothing. You have to tell him that you want an x-ray/ultrasound done just to double-check everything is alright.

You should get this checked out ASAP. It could be your ovaries, some sort of infection, or it could be related to your bladder. :)

Don't worry. Just go to the doctors....one that will listen to you!

I happens to me too every time and my doctor also said the same thing.:( Are you slim? I think I get pains because I'm not so healthy but who knows. I'd say follow Mehnaz's advice, get the x-ray done. I guess I'll have to do the same.

Ultrasounds are better. Your doc should give you both blood tests and ultrasounds to make sure everything is alright.

I had my blood tested and it turned out normal but I'll need the ultrasound test now. Let's see if it helps or not. Thanks for your advice btw. :-)

Thank you soo much, I’ll go and have that done right away, the only problem is that I can’t ususally get to the doctors at the time, but as for now any pain relief suggestions? It really is bad- I’ve just woken up after passing out but the pain is still there.
And yep-you had to go embarass me didn’t you?
And Im not just saying that Im soooo embarassed!!!

Try taking Tylenol 3 or extre-strength Tylenol. Tylenol 3 has codeine in it so you will feel drowsy or fall asleep after taking that.

Midol is really good for menstrual related pain.

Some women, like 5% of them (so the doctor told me) get regular pain during their cycle. I don't know how accurate that is though.

I have only ever had one problem in my life when it comes to this. I had a ruptured ovarian cyst last summer. It was completely natural and apparently happens to like 10% of women for some reason. Anyway, I literally could not walk for about 2 weeks.....it was very painful! I ended up going to the hospital in the middle of the night cause I couldn't handle it any longer. Turns out there was nothing that could be done about it. It would heal itself and it did! Only happened once and never again thank goodness! Anyway, I still get pain occassionally, but it's fairly normal to get some cramping.

hiccups,

u and me are in the same boat. I had my ultra sound done and blood test .. everything came out normal. my doctor prescribed me ponstone pills.. but it doesnt help either. so this is what i do, i use hot water bottle. keep it on your back at the lower spine area near hips... trust me it helps A LOT!. the heat helps to expand n relax the muscles so it makes a lot of differece.
hope this will help.. it helps me! :)

p.s i am not a big fan of medicine. cuz i think if i start taking pills .. the doze just keeps increasing.. might be my weham :) lekin zaroorat k waqt i do take one tylenol. but thats it.

Re: Intense pain

Dun worry, not many guys will meet you

and besides that, DONT YOU EVER TAKE 4 Ibopruph at the same time :nono1: Thats wayyyyy to dangerous , try other methods
Good lucck :k:

btw, dun mistake me with my icon I m a guy  )

I get physically ill-naseua. vomiting the like plus major pain

but once the cramps subside, then the rest of it seems to go away too

i use perscription Vioxx-it really helps me with the pain.

Ask you doctor, see what they say.

hope this helps

:)

Yeah, you definitely should avoid taking any unnecessary medication. You can get hooked and it can mess up your system. :) Visit the doctor and see what they say.

Hello,

The pain during cycles is called Dysmenorrhea in medical terminology. I has got quite a number of causes but important ones arethe Infection and endometriosis. This is not a very uncommon presentation and it is not a matter of embarrasmnet to seek help for this.

Consult some good gyanaecologist and she will advise some tests like Ultrasound or some blood tests. Dont self treat urself as it may b harmful to u.

Wassallam

hey did u try Midol ?????
