alright here is a weird case…
i know this co-worker of mine who is really smart at work… knows his way around software development (that’s what his job is) and he is a very very good team player but I was amazed today when he told me that he is under academic warning from his university.. i was like what!!! how can you be failing your courses when you are smart/intelligent?
any ideas? perspectives? theories?

everyone is smart in their own way. some people are street smart, some computer smart, some school smart and stuff like that. i've seen that happen quite alot of times. some are smart in business yet they know nothing about it and haven't even gone to school. i guess it's not always how smart you are but how well you know you can handle things. you kno what i mean?

Some people can be smart in all different aspects, but be lazy/procrastinate as well. Maybe his work keeps him so busy he doesn't have enough time to keep up with studies....
