Diwana, hi. Yes studies like this are always dodgy, and that's the mass appeal. It's all about the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought. BarbieCue's signature is the best I've seen so far.
ps. Regarding women, there were no significant findings because it's been evolutionarily advantageous for women to be monogamous. So it's the opposite; they lean towards sexually exclusivity regardless of their IQ.
