^ You are correct - Pongal does come sometime in January. I just eat the food prepared during the festival - Cows = mattu. So I think cows are being given some recognition.

Yeah I believe its the winter equinox or something. Also the start of kite flying season in India. Though up north they call it something else.

You know more about Hindu festivals than I do - impressive. Yes, I just refreshed my memory throo wiki - vasant panchami in the North, Sankranthi in Gujarat are all kite flying seasons - associated with Uttarayana - northward movement of the Sun.

I don't wear a rakhi for no rhyme or reason now do I? :D Plus I live with two hindu's (Indian and Nepali) makes our dinner conversations truly interesting.

Ha. Someone just sent me this. Men with higher IQs are less likely to screw around/be more sexually exclusive. I remember another study correlating intelligence with being less sexually expressive, but this is interesting.

The choice is still yours. And one knows life is all about choices made and to be made. At the end you did not seem pleased with my agreement with Jaanwar and your response was far too swift and condemning for someone who relatively new to this web forum, so as they say I lead the horse to water. So if it is a request you ask princess, then it is one where I do not require special attention from your end. Would that suffice?
Southie is fine when he isn't randomly mentioning me in posts for no apparent reason. But then again you both have that in common.
