what i dont understand is why is someone saying intellectual compatibility is important to them taken as the equivalent of being inflexible, forever alone etc?

Cos we havnt conformed nor are we trying to make babies which is apparently all there is a need for in a marriage. Oh and cos we’re FREE and stuff.
