Intel reports Q3 earnings, revenue holds steady at $13.5 billion

Good old Chipzilla managed to wrangle $13.5 billion in revenues with a net profit of $3 billion. While Intel’s latest figures reflect a small improvement from its last quarterly earnings, the company is still taking a light dip year over year. “Our third-quarter results reflected a continuing tough economic environment,” said Paul Otellini, Intel’s CEO. Happy to take progress in any form during a trying economy, the company’s fourth quarter strategy will highly focus on the success of ultrabooks, phones and Intel-powered tablets. While its recent gains may be somewhat slim, last we checked, a win is a win.
