Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

Re: Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

grin I love it when I strike a nerve. Here is what you forget though. Pakistan FO 3 years New York UN. 1 year Geneva WTO.

Though I have a question you post about Pakistans future. I have spent a good 4 years plus working on and defending it.

What have you lovely ladies done other than post on GS? I put my money where my mouth is. Can you?

Re: Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

its funny when people think being a nameless entity in vast transnational beureaucratic organizations can be described as 'working and defending Pakistan's future'.

without getting into the pickle wagging contest of 'i did more for my country', answer this princess: were you an expat during this time? And which passport were you planning on using in the US State Dept naukri?

Re: Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

Pak FO? And I work as advisor to Gen. Kayani. :hehe:

Any idiot can claim to be anything on anonymous message boards.

Besides, why would someone who is REALLY interested in defending Pakistan even CONSIDER joining the US State Department?

Speaking of money, mouth etc., at least my words are not for sale, especially to the US State Department.

LockJaw,

I don’t know anything about CM other than a thread he himself posted here, asking for “advice” on joining the US State Department.

I just found it rich that this guy, who once openly admitted that his loyalties are for sale, talks about expats and such.

Re: Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

Of course Jaan yours belong to the Crown :hehe: So bitter after all these years. Let it go.

Pakistani passport - always had it. Had a blue and red one as well. Just didn’t have the heart to give it when asked too.

Notice you are more than willing to question my abilities yet can not validite my comments against you. At the end of the day the UN has records my intervention on behalf of my country. And your actions for Pakistan’s future have been?

Re: Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

Yeah CM, I just read the news report where Ban Ki Moon said “Oye teree Baan kee, I could not have done a thing without Mr. CM’s sage advice:hehe:

Re: Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

the cognitive dissonance in criticising expats who have foreign passports while embodiying that very thing is hard to believe.

anyway, im not gonna beat on the guy for being who he is. be happy with your UN records of intervention, whatever that means, and content in the knowledge that you served Pakistan's future. there is atleast one person now who believes that.

im out.

Re: Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

Typical of GS. The inability to back up anything they say with actual conviction. Simply words on the internet.

Re: Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

Alrite folks, lets get back to the topic. I will not be participating further, and will let other mods decide whether they wish to remove these posts, or split them into a seperate topic, perhaps an AllViews topic about expat pakistanies vs those who's interventions have been recorded in the UN.

Alternatively CM you could open a seperate thread, and I will move these posts there.

Re: Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

This is getting ridiculous. Where is the Pakistani government and why is Zardari acting like an ostrich? Now is not the time to keep your head in the sand.

It is INCREDIBLE that these people are moving with the rapidity they are - and yeah its been 7 or 8 or whatever years - and those years were well spent by the Taliban planning exactly how they would overtake a country, and putting all their machinery in place to accomplish this goal.

Just a piece of advice. Pakistanis are NOT going to get their head out of the sand, so I'd contact your families if I were you, and find a way to get them out of the country, because its going to get sucked up in widespread warfare - the kind Pakistanis so far have pretty much only read about in Nawai-e-Waqt concocted blood stories in Iraq.

Re: Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

It is strange that an army which professes to be most strong in the world, is looking as defeated before talibans. People say that ISI has provided logistic support to them. Allah hi bachaye in murda hukmranon se. One day sharia will rule over this unfortunate country and Pakistan will go back into thousand years down in the history. Who will benefit by a populace of backwards--- only lambi dadhi chhota dimag mullahs and their supporters.

Re: Insurgents Make Inroads in Key Pakistan Province

The only possible inference is that the army does not want the taleban stopped from taking over Pakistan. This in turn may be because the officer cadre of Pakistan military either supports the Taleban or have come to the assessment that the soldiers will desert or mutiny if forced to fight the Taleban.

Otherwise do you think they can't shut down a simple FM station?
