Vile.
But this is for the Iraqi people, right?
Sick ****s.
June 12 (Bloomberg) – Insurgents cut the throats of a Lebanese and two Iraqis who worked for a telecommunications company and were kidnapped Thursday on the road near the Iraqi town of Fallujah, Agence France-Presse reported. The mutilated bodies of Hussein Olayyan, from south Lebanon, and the two Iraqis were found yesterday at noon on the roadside between Baghdad and Jordan, AFP said, citing Lebanese Charges d’Affaires Hassan Hijazi. Neither the Iraqis, nor the company they worked for, were identified in the AFP report.
Attacks on foreign contractors in Iraq are impairing the progress of reconstruction there, as companies pair down staff or in some cases pull teams out of the country. Two American and two Polish security contractors were shot dead on the road to Baghdad airport last Sunday, AFP said.
Separately, unidentified gunmen shot dead an official in the foreign ministry in Baghdad, AFP said earlier today. Bassam Kubba, the undersecretary for international relations, died in the hospital after being shot at 7:30 a.m. as he went to work, AFP said, citing Thamer al-Azami, a ministry official.
