Hi,

I am wondering if Pakistan there is home, motor, life, pet, travel insurance? Are these obligatory or voluntary?

a part of motor insurance in obligatory i.e. THIRD PARTY LIABILITY .

Motor own damage is voluntary.

Rest of all the insurances that u mentioned are voluntary except for travel which becomes obligatory when u r travelling to schengen countries as the law over there requires it.

so you require 3rd party at most to drive? What if you don't have it can they police send your to jail and take your car away don't they do that anyway if you dont give them the money they want?

3rd party insurance is not popular in pakistan .................. unlike western countries ......

dmages are settled genrally oustside court between the two parties .................
