It is really not good someone insults The Holy Religious Personality and contractor of world paid him fame. But, here another thought disturbing me that Muslim self not discharging their efficiencies according to saying of Great Holy Religious Personality. I think they self continuously insulting through disobedient that is a big caused, which gave, dare to others for talking and writing.

I think it is fashionable these days for Muslims to protest in the name of 'religion'. I can bet, majority of those who are protesting do not know jack about the issue at hand, religion and reason. This is not new, from Bush's speech on crusades to Danish cartoons. They are just there because it makes them look somewhat credible. I just can not believe that one award can bring so much ire and anger while mosques in Iraq are being blown away by the day. That award does not make him a spokesperson for anything.

well i was surprised when elton john got it but than atleast he is a professional at what he does regardless of the public display of honour he often showcases. but come on rhusdie? something’s gotta give.

lol sir...u r not even sure urself wat u are :D. else if i say Muslim is a Muslim so u did say the same thing too :). u r convinced dat u r muslim. but also have set a guideline that this is wat makes u religious n this wat not.
the fact is sir, neither u, nor me knowz whoz is better than the other. only ALLAH SWT knowz the best :). dat is y i highlighted dat let it b personal. its my faith n on the day of judgement no one is answerable for any my action of this worldly life.
(hopefully u get my point that religion is a personal matter/faith. its BETWEEN ME N ALLAH SWT. only thing we (may) share is collectively praise the Sovereign (in order to have peace, unity and strength) :)

I totally agree religion is a very very personal thing.

The Holy Religious Personalities are our beloved and the cheapest thing any foe can stoop to is to insult the beloved of the enemy...The contractors act as arbiters...But their arbitration, benefits only the friends of the contractors who act as arbitrators...
So why not elevate the purveyor of such piss to a status which aggravates others...

it was not poking fun, if I cant understand what he wrote how am I supposed to respond. I did not need any shakesperean spin to it, just ..english.
That being said I agree this is something we should not be quiet about and let our displeasure be known, but in a civilized manner.
I also wish and pray that we dont just thinkof the prophet and his importance to us when he is insulted by some random jack ass like salman rushdie, but also when the message that the prophet brought is twisted to justify the type of carnage we saw sipah e sahaba and sipah e muhammad etc do in pakistan. That to me is the ultimate disrespect.
