If there’s a situation, & your instincts tell you not to do/go for it as the outcome could be really bad but somehow your heart feels that you can handle the situation well & the outcome could be better than the outcome warned by your instincts. In such a case, what would you follow - your instincts or your heart? And why?

Fritz Perl was right when he made that comment in 1960 and he could have stole it right out of the works of Rumi becuase in the Faris eye view of things when it’s a life or death moment you forget any notion of Nobility, Honour, Civilisation, Fair and Unfair… it just comes down to brutal survival instinct where its literally law of the jungle Kill or Be Killed as it were.
But for all non Lethal scenarios I would listen to my heart becuase like a lot of Desi men I too have a soft and sentimental side as well. I wouldn’t show it in real life but to those I actually get to speak to or on GS where I can write my feelings and nobody can see the Pyscho behind the screen I let out a bit of the emotional side too.
Before I was a Husband and Father I used to think I could go my own way and do my own thing anywhere any place and never give a hoot what anyone else thought… but I have to think of the Wife and Kids now and while I still have a reputation as a Brainless Heartless Thug I have come to see that actually I do have a heart afterall.
