My daughter keeps asking me while holding out her
fingers “mommy how many are you?”
Then she would go
“are you this many”? showing me 2 or 3 fingers. 
When my answer is no she would increase or decrese
the number of fingers she is holding out and ask me again
“are you this many”?

simply tell her that she needs 10 hands to count how many you are 
The current number of hands she has are not sufficient

I just tell her I am 20 cause that’s an easy number to remember.
