The difference being zaat paat is something that has existed for centuries and only now we are slowly rooting it out (still have a long way to go). The FOB/freshie attitude is something that has developed in recent years among second generation desis out west.

Not quite just in second generation desis out west,
while they may have a Fobia..the transplants have an attitude towards the secind generation desis. As evident in a number of threads in this forum.
