Inspiration from younger ones

One of my Mom’s friend, whenever she brings an Eid gift or any other gift for her children, they place the gift aside without opening it and immediately perform ablution (wudu), offer two rakah shukrana nafal namaz and thank Allah (s.w.t) for blessing them with so nice parents and such good gifts which are not available to a lot of people on earth.

I found this idea very inspiring. This regular practice not only helps them to not take anything for granted from Allah (s.w.t) and their parents but also develop a lot of respect and gratitude in their hearts for anyone who is kind to them in any way.

Just felt like sharing it here. Please do share if you have learned anything from younger ones as I found their intentions very sincere and pure.

SubhanAllah!

Re: Inspiration from younger ones

Recently, I saw a young one using a little catapult and target blubbery rears. I learnt a lot from his technique and tactical abilities.

brotehr STP,

it is true, sometimes children can teach us, what we do not know.

their description or obsevations are not bearing any front like ours nor are they implicating anyone.
they simply state what is factual.

their dislike, suspicion or praise and liking for things is pure, indeed.

much can be learnt from children.
