Has anyone here ever faced this problem, I don’t know why but from last one whole week. I have only slept for may be maximum 7 or 8 hours. That’s all. I am facing huge problem in sleeping. I do not have any pain or discomfort. Tried long walk, reading book, taking warm bath before sleep but still nothing can work. Since I work 8 to 6
My sleeping habit before this week was always perfect. Dinner at 7:00 and 9 sharp I am was dead in dreams; use to walk up only by 6:00 morning. I don’t take rest in afternoon due to work, moreover I even don’t feel sleepy whole day or at nights. Called my doctor twice this week. As per her it’s fine in 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] trimester. But I feel so exhausted inside. What should I do?
Well im going through this. Its so irritating seriously. I dont take naps at all. My night sleep is max 5,6 hrs and that too includes washroom visits etc and again its not because of discomfort or pain but since i got pregnant my sleeping routine is completely messed up.
And as far as i heard or read, its completely normal for some ppl.
I used to sleep 10/11 hours but during my 1st pregnancy it slowly decreased as just couldn’t sleep, no valid reason. I think it’s just your body’s way of getting ready for when baby arrives and you won’t get as much sleep.
Now with 2 kids I only ever get a max of 6 hours sleep even though they now sleep through the night.
My sleep pattern was totally ruined during my pregnancy too. If I stayed lying in bed I would have incredibly stupid songs stuck in my head that kept me awake. I was told that is normal and is your body and brain’s way of preparing you for the sleepless nights ahead when baby comes
