first of all, eat what they offer, and if its the type pf host that will keep filling your plate...eat slow..verrrrry slow, tell em there is no way you can finish any more and if they pile more, just pick at it and then abandon ship apologizing that u are so full you absolutely cant eat any more. I hate wasting food that way..but that seems to be the only option when ppl dont take no for an answer.

Yeah, just be polite and say you are full or you had something before you left your house..thats what i do.

I eat, because if someone is insisting then there is no point of showing your nakhra.
