i read similar news years ago.....it was a marathi news paper.....saying.."Tractor ki takkar se Shahrukh khan ki maut"....
the dead shahrukh khan was five year old kid...:(

Last week, my colleague told that Kamran Khan in his program started like this: naazreen koi achi khabar nahin hai, achi khabar hoti to aap ko zaroor dete.
I said its media policy to promote depression. itne bade mulk main kuch to acha hota hoga. Then the discussion between us went very long to discuss why a bad news is headline and good News even doesn't form part of News.

on the face of it, its true.. but channel ki tankhwa se ayyashiyan nahin ho sakti.. so under the table transactions took place. You know ‘lifafa journalists’

I meant there are very few jounalists who don’t have a link with political parties and who can play the game without bias. journalists ka bhi pet hota hai.. They also need hi fi cars and luxury bungalows.

Background mai jo bhi ho , they have to present it to us in an unbiased manner , they may fake it to be unbiased but that's what they are taught to do.
As for being insensitive , even normal ppl are to an extent insensitive.Its so heart aching to hear people talk about someone's death as if its a story.But due to the amount of ppl dying everyday and death being a natural phenomenon their insensitivity is at times justified.
Yes, news is depressing.I stopped watching it long back.
