This is probably the most random thing im going to do but i feel like i should go with the moment. So i want to say everyone has insecurities. Guys or girls. I know lots of times females see unrealistic images in magazines and feel like they don’t match up. While worse for girls it also happens to guys. Of course it’s important to act confident and not let this stuff affect you but i just want to say that guys also have those insecurities. So you’re not alone. I mean i mentioned the fairness thing but i guess there are other insecurities we have that make us thing we can’t wear these clothes or those clothes. While insecurities we know that can be changed like weight is something to think about I realise we should accept the things we cannot change like our colour. Even if we don’t think there is some good behind it Allah(swt) has given us those qualities for some reason. What we think are flaws and imperfections another person may consider the most beautiful thing about us. Confidence is the key. While girls might think “does my butt look big in this” subconsciously some guys might think “does it look like i have moobs(man boobs) or do they just look like pecs.” I think girls are unnecessarily harsh on themselves. Sometimes guys too are harsh.
Anyway my insecurities which i will only ever reveal here and never in real life as you’ve got to only show a confident side. This might be straying into health/fitness
- skin colour-im getting to grips with it. A lot of colours in clothes suit dark skin.
- Slight bit of flab which my parents say i should work on..so i can pull of all types of sherwanis and even wear tight shirts
- i want to be more toned and muscular with my arms and chest so that i can pull off deep v neck sherwani and even sleeveless
- scar on my left upper arm which
- whether i should wear my glasses for events or just contacts
- I feel like my legs are too skinny and i’d want them to be more muscular for wearing suits, kurta sherwani or even dhoti sherwani.
Sorry ladies for bombarding this forum. I’m trying to invade too much. I’m just interested in this stuff
