this topic got me thinking that if a guy after 2-3 years of his marriage wants to meet his Ex or tries to contact her , would it mean that his relationship is not strong enough or is it different with guys?

if he has kids with his ex, he has every right to be in touch with his ex for the sake of children ONLY! same rights a wife has as well.
if he/she has no kids with ex, there is no need to be in touch.
