i have attended many of allam tahir ul qadri lectures. he is okay but talks about grey ares of the deen a lot and not about the basic principle and tenant of islam. further his books and lectures gives me the feeling that he lacks in differentiating between the sahih hadiths and zaeef hadiths. as generally he quotes those hadith that are not considered very authentic or taken from such sources.
i wud suggest u to read the books of mufti taqi usmani and bayan of mulana abdus sattar.
