innovation

There was a woman, She use to come over to help around the house. Every summer she will boil wheat and then melt “gur”(brown suger) and them put then together to make my fav sweet wheat balls. :phati:

Now how do I use that kind of stuff if I want to bake cookies ??

Did any one gave a try baking stuff made of pure grains.

Be quick. Before I come with my own version of it. :snooty:

There was a woman, every morning she used to slice some cheese and put it on some crackers.

Now, can I do the same and have my own cheese and crackers?

Tell me quickly!

Re: innovation

yes you may :snooty:

Rupy ppl like my self end up writing cooking books, ppl like your self end up buying them.

My aunt makes them..she also makes a drink out of powdered wheat, gurr and water. It's supposed to be really good for summers?

Re: innovation

^ sattu?

:phati:

Is that what it's called? I tried a little and didn't like it ONE bit!

Re: innovation

Doesn't sattu have husk of wheat?

yeah, in punjabi. and you are not supposed to like or dislike it. you just gulp it down to better fight the scorching heat in Pakistan. :hoonh:

I think you are right. I am not sure but whatever it is I think that’s what Gina meant.

WHY would you put anything in your mouth that you don’t like!? Why not have a raspberry sorbet instead! :smack2:

Re: innovation

^ :smack: of course, I was talking in the context where the thing is mostly consumed .. i.e villages in Punjab, Pakistan.
