Guys ...we need some positivity ... lets treat our inlaws as our own set of parents ... yes some of them can be rude but doesnt mean we have to sort out a problem by creating a bigger problem ...

Sahar , I suggest , please feel positive about them coming to your place .. most mother in laws are mainly looking for their DIL's attention and care ... sometimes they can be rude and troublesome , ignore the bad things and concentrate on making the trip good for them and yourself, after all they are not really staying for ever ... right?

I have only one tip that always works : for the first two days make a good menu and have a good choice of dishes on the table and from then on keep no more then a single well prepared dish with accompniments like kababs or salad etc ... and then focus back on having a good variety menu on the last two to thre days of their visit..

This has always worked for me ... the guests feel their importance , they enjoy food more when there is one dish or max two..and i dont get over worked ...
