Could be. Vitiligo isn't as bad if ure already on the lighter side. but the darker u are, the more apparent it is. I don't know much about it at all, except from what I have seen; I don't know what the physical health repercussions are, other than the aesthetics of it (which bring mental and emotional health into question).
I've seen quite a few black people with vitiligo and u literally see them go from dark brown to a milky white in tehir lifetime.
