Inko baat kernay ki tameez nahee hay

This desi uncle type guy has recently joined my department. He has a doctorate from a reputable school and seems quite competent in what he does.

However, lately he has developed a co-worker type friendliness with me. So, now he walks into my office at least once a day and starts a very casual conversation in English-Urdu-Punjabi. He is quite funny too.

But one thing that really cracks me up is when he says the following;

‘oh yaar, in logoN (some cross-functional team members) ko Bcd baat kernay ki tameez nahee hay. Gn** apnay aap ko kya samjhtay haiN’

I mean come’on man…baat kernay ki tameez? look at the kind of vocabulary you are using.

Anyway, I thought I 'd share it with you guys.

Re: Inko baat kernay ki tameez nahee hay

thanks FG. I love you bro!! :flower1:

Re: Inko baat kernay ki tameez nahee hay

I can’t stand people who cannot speak without using these curse words. A couple of people at my work do the same. I would have hoped my facial expressions conveyed my disgust effectively but looks like they don’t :mad:

Re: Inko baat kernay ki tameez nahee hay

it would make more sense to me if i knew what the chap was saying...but anyway its good to see that you have a job and are not unemployed or a drug dealer or something.

Re: Inko baat kernay ki tameez nahee hay

Brothers shower their sisters with gifts, money and vow to protect them I believe.

I have this urge to make lots of indian brothers, esp for the first 2 benefits.

Re: Inko baat kernay ki tameez nahee hay

that would define the first word. lol. help the newwannabe with the second one.
