inheritance for children born out of wedlock

There is a big munh bola rishta syndrom in desi society as well. I think its also not permissible.

I think in Muslim societies, we got areas like Heera mandi, where ameer rais leave their daughters for next shikari.

Do Islam allow inheritance of children born out of wedlock?

Re: Adopting a Child - A taboo?

No sure.
But I know general idea is, if you can not keep it in the pants, you have to take responsibility as well.
That include inheritance.

Its a delicate subject. With many things you and I can not understand.
Only people is situation can.

Not to be talk or thought lightly.

Re: Adopting a Child - A taboo?

I heard / read that only inheritance for out of wedlock relationship is stone / stoning.

Source?

So connecting different dots from this thread, let me paint a very plausible scenario, that probably happens more in our society than we like to believe.

Two cousins got married. Had a kid. Found out later that wife was fed milk once by husbands mother, when wife was a baby. That made husband and wife, siblings - which immediately nullified the nikah. Is their kid, an illegitimate child now? I think so. So does that mean that the poor child is not going to get any inheritance? Seems pretty unfair to him, if you think of if.

Re: Adopting a Child - A taboo?

A child will inherit from the mother always because there is no doubt she's the mother. If the father accepts the child then the child will also inherit from him.
