ingrown hair..

oh major prblem i hate it! i waxd ma legs n after like a week i find loads of ingrown hair!!..how do i get rid of em??? dey hurt alot!..i tried tweezers n tried takin em out but mum sed i shudnt do tht theyl grow bak..
sum1 help me!

Apricot scrub is really helpful. Also, try exfoliating regularly. And someone passed this on to me not too long ago:

Take exfoliating gloves (NOT loofas as they accumulate bacteria) to your skin every time you shower, and you'll not only get rid of flaky dead skin, but also loosen up and prevent ingrown hairs. Make sure to throw the gloves in with your next load of laundry to properly clean them of ingrown-hair-causing bacteria.

Do NOT use tweezers! U'll get permanant scarring! Exfoliate.. a day after u get u're waxing done... and every alternate day as well.

Is it enough to using exfoliating gloves with normal shower gel? or do you have to use a scrub?

A shower gel and exfoliating glove are fine..u dont need to use both!

Well i always use both and still have ingrown hair and once the hair is removed i am left with black dot like marks HELP!!

Exfoliate a day after u get u're waxing done..and continue doing it till u're next waxing day! It's the only way of getting rid of ingrowns..but no tweezers, no picking and no sharp instruments EVER!

find a different method of hair removal then. everyone has different reactions to each method. some will suit you better.

Dont want to shave - as hair grows back quicky

Epilating - causes ingrown hairs also

Depilatory Creams - No Way

Laser - Cannot afford

i hear a product called Tend Skin is supposed to be really good for ingrowns. I havent used it yet but i just bought it... will start soon
