Dear All,
It amazes me how each and everyone of us can brilliantly use the same ingredient in a 1000 different ways … … so I thought of exploring it further.
Each week we will have a certain spice/herb/fruit/vege …please tell us how and why you use the ingredient of the week in day to day life.

not necessarily just seekh kebab, just kebab that aren't shaami :P, or bihari =/
Re: Ingredient of the week - Besan/Gram flour
Yeah Khumar, I agree. As a matte rof fact you can lightly toast the besan and then add to the qeema as a fragrant binder. Yummy. Besides Pakora/Kurri/dehi phoolki stuff......you can also use it mixed with flour to dredge fish in before frying. I sometimes even sprinkle light coating over potatoes before making french fries.....comes out good.
