buddy, u have a lot more serioud problem than being overly-desified. That problem is of low self esteem. If some honkies refuse to be your friend or some girl wont go out on more dates with you cuz of who you are (desi with desi interests)..then they are not worth it anyways..

What you need to know about American culture is mostly sports like Baseball, Basketball and American Football.
About music, its mostly rap and hip-hop like Eminem and 50 cent and that’s pretty much it.
During the date with that white chick, if you have a good sense of humor that will really work and ask her questions that’s it. They love that, things like what do you do? Where you work? What work? Why this Why that? and occasionally throw in some compliments like “I really like your dress” and you look nice today.
