What’s the life like there
Life is good here, alhamdulillah. I’m not sure what exactly you want to know about living here but I to me this is home. From what I know people who move here from abroad find it difficult to learn the language (dutch), for me obviously it has never been a problem. Few things u might wanna know:
- Dutch are very liberal and openminded about almost everything
- The Muslim community has increased since the 1960s as a result of the influx of immigrants mainly from Morocco, Turkey, Indonesia and Suriname. At present there are some 570,000 Muslims in the Netherlands and more than 300 mosques
- They have a strict policy of integrating in their country/culture if you decide to move/work here

Overall recommendation
I’d say if you’re willing to learn the language and respect the ‘dutch way of living’ this country has a lot of good to offer you
