I would like to know the quality of education provided by Chand Bagh School. I am willing to admit my two sons in class 7 & 8 this year. I want them to continue till they complete their A level from that school. Kindly advice about the education and other facilities as soon as possible.

I dont think Chand Bagh is the best option. I think, its a relatively new school located in Muridke near Lahore. Started initially as top profile school just like Aitchison College of Lahore, Sadiq Public School of Bahawalpur and Dera Doon of India etc but failed to reached that standard.Its very expensive as well. If you want your sons to continue till A-Levels, Lahore may be a best place as an education centre instead of Muridke. Lahore Schools students of O-Level and A-Level evevry year get first or second position in Chemistry,Physics,Maths or Economics etc in the whole world. Some best schools for O and A levels situated in Lahore are:
Beaconhouse
Lahore Grammar School
Crescent Model School
International School of Choueifat
Aitchison College
Resource Academia
Bloomfied Hall
you can try anyone of them, these are the best schools for A and O levels.

LAHORE
AN award ceremony “Brilliance in Pakistan 2007” was held on Thursday in honour of the Pakistani students who achieved the best results in the world in O and A levels under the UK examination boards including Edexcel and Cambridge.
A total of 26 students have topped in the world from June and November 2007 examinations for various Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and Edexcel, University of London syllabuses. As many as 120 high achieving students who topped in the City, Pakistan and in the world, were presented awards in the ceremony.
Regional Manager, South Asia, University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), William Bickerdike, Global Relationship Manager of Edexcel David Davies, Director Examination Services Pakistan of the British Council John Gildea and Deputy Director British Council in Pakistan Mark Stephens were present on the occasion while Vice Chancellor of the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Dr Syed Zahoor Hassan was the chief guest. Award winning students and their proud parents attended the ceremony.

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) also presented awards to the toppers of ACCA and CAT.
Earlier, Deputy Director British Council in Pakistan Mark Stephens presented the welcome address and congratulated the toppers on their achievements.
Speaking on the occasion, William Bickerdike said reasons behind the high level of performance by the Pakistani students was immense support from teachers and parents to the students. He said the training option for teachers was also a contributing factor to the performance of the students. Addressing the students, he said “Talent you have in abundance”. He further said if results were compared with students of Karachi, there were more toppers in Karachi than Lahore. David Davies also congratulated the high achievers saying “Today is your day”.
In his address, Dr Syed Zahoor Hassan, congratulating the students, urged them to play their role in the development of the country and the world. “Make best of the world”, he added. He also advised the students to broaden their set of ambitions.

I think chand bagh is a boarding school only, if you want a boarding only school , the whole country is wide open for you not just lahore.

Actually I am from Lahore and presently employed in Saudi Arabia. I prefer to get my children admitted in a 'Boarding School' considering the overall personality development alongwith quality education for O and A levels.
Would you please advice me if there are another boarding schools near to Lahore better than Chand Bagh or equivalent.
I will look forward for your reply and suggestions from other members as well.
I would be happy to get the phone numbers or personal emails of any member who has the more information about Chand Bagh and other boarding schools.

I think only 2 good boarding Aitchison College and
International School of Choueifat at small scale. Secondly its not easy to get into Aitchison merit is a bit high, as far i know, plus Choueifat is place of land lord hi fi class , environment is not pretty good, dont think boarding will help in personality development, education is fine but heard some hanky panky hanging out like things about that school. Borading with quality education will be difficult. Lahore Grammar School,Crescent, Beaconhouse , Bloonfield are good but i dont think they provide borading. Private hostel can be a option but depends upon your personal choice

my nephew goes to choueifat, its good school but I dont think it offers a boarding, I may be wrong. as my nephew live near to school so I dont if its boarding at all. Atchison and Choueifat , both eventually produce people with attitude though with good results.
I know about the school you mentioned, Chand Bagh, but I dont have a valid information to hand to say its best or worst. in the beginning when they were developing it bunch of ex students of Chanbagh school in India got this idea and started this. If it doesnt have top ranking in school but i will not say its bad anyway.

are also good options but these are not local boarding schools.

I have PM you my email. But honestly i dont know much about boarding schools and Chand Bagh as being native of Lahore, i never studied in boarding.Also dont know much about Chand Bagh . However if any question youfeel free to ask me.I will do my best to solve your problem.
