My brother in Law’s wedding is on july 7/8. I was not planning to go bcuz my son is only 6 months right now. But on such high demand from my in laws, we decided we need to go. The problem is I have less time and i still need to apply for his passport and then Pakistan’s visa. After some reseach online i found that I can get an urgent passport but i must show the proof of traveling within 10 days of that. If I purchase tickets now and show them the proof how do I get the visa in such less time.
Guys I really need your opinion and advice. Please help
I went thru the similar situation with my daughter...we went to the passport agency n had the ticket printed as a proof...n explained them that we need the passport today so we can send it for visa Which takes 2,3 weeks..they gave us the passport the same day after a few hrs.I was traveling on the 4th of march n went to get the passport on the 14th of feb....I was traveling to Pakistan so got her visa from the Pakistani embassy in ny in one day...actually the same day i was leaving for Pakistan
So I can go to New York to get visa or should I send my visa to DC. New York is going to be my first destination from Atlanta and from there I'll be getting flight for Pakistan.

I think I should contact the travel agent and see if it works. Thanks for the great idea and then instead of sending my baby's passport to DC I get the visa from NY. You never know Pakistani embassy with processing timings. I have heard stories of untidiness about them.

cherry when i told my travel agent that i needed a proof for the passport,,,she sent me a copy of the booking i didnt have to pay her in advance to make a ticket...n yes its a good idea to get visa from newyork but dont take the risk of the getting visa the same day ur traveling....if ur traveling from ny, go there ahead of time...i gave my passport to someone to get the visa for my daughter n they didnt get it done n waited for the last min...i was ready to go to airport n her passport still didnt come,,,n i had to wait for em to bring the passport before i left for the airport..n when the passport came i looked at the stamp it was done that same day
