Inevitable disintegration of india

Ditto. India has stubbornly adopted a belligerent stance primarily because anti-Pakistan rhetoric helps garner votes of the pro-BJP middle classes. In contrast, electoral success of neither PPP nor PMLN- the two major players in the Pakistani political landscape- hinge on adoption of anti-India stance. Even Imran Khan, leader of the third relatively influential party, despite his penchant to embrace more radical/outlandish notions, is not an advocate of hostility with Pakistan’s eastern neighbour.

While the reluctance, from educated, rational people no less, to mend relations might seem curios at first, I don’t think it is very surprising on hindsight. After all, people of Pakistan do not feel victims of the great twin theft, that is the dismemberment of the indivisible ‘mother’ India by people who converted from the religion native to the land.
